FERRMED is a multi-sectorial association that came out of the initiative of the private sector in order to enhance European competitiveness by promoting:
Keeping in mind these objectives, FERRMED (with the support of the European Commission and several member states and regions), has started, through a prestigious international Consortium, the development of Supply/Demand, Technical, Socioeconomic and Environmental Global Study of FERRMED Great Axis network and its Area of influence. One important issue of this Global Study is the progressive implementation of
FERRMED Standards all over the European Union.
Taking into account the challenges and the opportunities that could represent these Standards in the rail freight transportation and in the logistics activity improvement, FERRMED, jointly with European Railway Review, are holding “FERRMED STANDARDS, the keystone of rail freight competitiveness in Europe”, on 26th June in Brussels.
The main subjects of this conference are:
The major philosophy of this event is to get the opinion of key people and institutions. They will be questioned regarding the different items of the FERRMED Standards.
We believe that this Conference offers a unique opportunity to communicate with key decision makers in these matters that are vital for the development of European Union rail freight network.
